Meet your Media Center Staff

Media Specialist:
Ms. Kimberly Rein​
Ms. Rein is in her 17th year teaching, and her second year at Key West High School. Before KWH she taught ELA in IL for one year, and eight years at Rockvale Middle School in Tennessee. She served as Media Specialist at Central Magnet School and Christiana Middle School before transferring to the high school media center at Riverdale High. In September of 2022 she moved to Key West to start a new adventure. 

Ms. Rein earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Illinois State University, her two Master's degrees of Literacy, and Library Information Science at Middle Tennessee University, and her Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership at MTSU. She just finished her American Library Association accredited Master's degree in Library Informational Studies from Texas Women's University, her second library science degree.

Her favorite hobbies include reading, attending author events, and playing with her Boxer, Kaylie. She also teachers library science classes for LSU! Geaux Tigers!​

Administrative Assistant:
​Juliette Hamel

Ms. Juliette has worked for the Monroe County School District for 27 years. She first started at the district office in ESE department. She transferred to Glen Archer Elementary for a data entry position. In 2010, she moved up to Key West High as an administrative assistant in attendance and moved into the media center in 2021. 
She is also a notary for KWH. ​
